All of our upholstery materials are PVC-based and come in two constructions: PVC synthetic leather and semi-PU faux leather. Semi-PU is a PVC-coated fabric finished with a polyurethane (PU) top layer. The PVC body gives strength, abrasion resistance and easy care, while the PU top layer gives a softer surface touch and a more natural, leather-like look.
Our Contract Collection is a semi-PU range made for hotels, offices, restaurants, home cinemas, boats and other heavily used interiors. Its composition is 78% PVC, 20% polyester and 2% PU (EU 1007/2011). It weighs 650 g/m², withstands more than 100,000 Martindale rubs, and is tested to BS 5852 Source 0 and 1, EN 1021 Parts 1 and 2, NFPA 260 Class 1, IMO 2010 FTP Code Part 8 and FMVSS 302. Six designs, Alesta, Karina, Flesa, Orsa, Mapa and Alarga, come in 14 colours each.
Semi-PU faux leather suits sofas, armchairs, dining and office chairs, banquettes and headboards, where a soft look has to stand up to daily use. It resists alcohol, disinfectants, UV and cold cracking down to −25 °C, and it wipes clean with a damp cloth.
All of our upholstery faux leathers are produced at our own factory in Velimeşe OSB, Ergene, Tekirdağ, Türkiye, which has a daily production capacity of 20,000 metres. Embossing and finishing let us offer a wide choice of grains, textures and colours, from smooth surfaces to deeper leather grains.
