PALA SUNI DERI, thanks to its extensive range of quality products, is a key player in the leather industry that has been a driving force behind the Turkish economy. The company was founded in 1965 by Cevat PALA in the historical Grand Bazaar and has demonstrated consistent growth while making significant contributions to the national economy.
PALA SUNI DERI has more than 50 years of experience in the production and sales of artificial leather. A family company, it has nevertheless taken important steps in adopting a corporate structure, reflected in the increase of employees and adoption of advanced manufacturing processes.
PALA SUNI DERI started manufacturing artificial leather in 2010 by using state-of-the-art technologies and developing R&D capabilities, allowing it to introduce many pioneering products into the market. Its successful sales/marketing strategies help the company increase its export volumes on a daily basis while its attendance at domestic and international fairs further emphasize its international brand strength.
PALA SUNI DERI is proud to serve both domestic and international customers with its stores in Beyazit and Gedikpasa and its Cerkezkoy Manufacturing Plant that sports an indoor space of 4,000 m² and has a daily production capacity of 20,000 meters.

Cevat Pala
Founder and Eternal Chairman of Pala Suni Deri
Our founder Cevat Pala was born in 1949 in Skopje, Macedonia. A leading businessman of his generation, Cevat Pala’s first business venture was the manufacture of brass bed frames in the Grand Bazaar. His foray into the artificial leather industry corresponds with the establishment of Cevat & Cavit Pala in 1965 that specialized in the wholesale trade of artificial leather. In 2009, the company was incorporated into Pala Ithalat Ihracat Suni Deri San. Tic. Ltd. Sti. A model citizen, Cevat Pala made significant contributions to the artificial leather industry and will be forever remembered in our hearts for his integrity, credibility, and diligence.
Cengiz Pala
Chairman of the Board
Cengiz Pala completed his bachelor’s degree at Edirne University’s Physics Department and is certified in various computer systems and programming languages. Starting with his high school years, he has held various posts at Pala Suni Deri. He also participated as assistant in physics projects during his university years. Fluent in English, Cengiz Pala is married and has two daughters.
Cemil Pala
General Manager, CEO
Cemil Pala completed his bachelor’s degree at Istanbul Technical University’s Civil Engineering Department and later obtained his Management Engineering master’s degree from the same university. Cemil Pala entered the family business during his high school years and also took part in construction projects during his university years. He is a board member of the Rumelia Turks Culture and Solidarity Association and a congress member of the sports club Fenerbahce. He is married and has one daughter.
